Maccabean heritage at the reconstructed Hasmonean village - Chanuka experience for the whole family.
Every hour (on the hour) at the visitors' center: the play 'Tales with Matityahu' with the participation of the parents, and beginning of guided tour.
Every hour (on the hour): archery and producing olive oil from the ancient olive press.
Activity stations: making oil lamps from clay, demonstration of ancient Hasmonean coin making, writing in ancient Hebrew with quills, feeding goats and chickens and creating herb sachets.
Families are welcome to have a picnic onsite.
Hours
14-20/12, activities starting from 10:00 until 13:00. Length of activity approximately 2 and a half hours.
Registration recommended.
Price: 35 ₪ per person from age 3.5.
