An evening of appreciation for all the Modiin graduates of the 13th cycle of HaDaf HaYomi.
With Rabbi David Lau, Rabbi Shlomo Amar, chief rabbis of Modiin, Eliyahu Elcharar and Yaakov Chikotai, Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu, Rabbi Ratzon Arussi and Modiin mayor, Haim Bibas.
The event will include refreshments and musical accompaniment.
The learning of "HaDaf HaYomi" from the Talmud Bavli was founded by Rabbi Meir Shapira of Lublin in 1923. Each cycle of learning lasts approximately 7.5 years (a total of 2,711 Gemara pages), taking place at the same time all over the world.
