1938. A young British banker named Nicholas "Nicky" Winton, arrives in Prague for a visit and is exposed to the plight of the Jewish refugees in the city, especially the children, who are trying to escape from the Nazi regime.

Nicky, despite not being Jewish, decides to do what he thinks any other person in his situation should do - and dedicates himself to the task of saving them. But with the war approaching and in a race against time, how many children will he be able to save?

"One Life" is an moving drama based on a true and amazing story that was revealed to millions only a few short years ago, when a video from a TV show in which Nicky is surprised by the dozens of children he saved, in their adulthood, went viral.

The role of Nicky is played by veteran Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins ("The Father"), in a masterful performance that tells the story of a man who managed, simply, wisely and modestly, to save hundreds of souls, each of whom is a world unto themselves...
