Festival of quality Israeli documentaries and movies, organized in collaboration with the Israel Academy of Film and Television.

At the end of each screening, there will be a talk with the film's creators, led by film critic Yair Rave.

Wednesday 14/2/24, 20:00: 'Sheva Brachot'

Winner of 10 Ophir awards included best movie of the year 2023.

Marie travels from France to Israel, where her family now lives, to marry her one true love. "Seven Blessings" is a week of festive meals in honor of the bride. This week turns into a sad comedy about family crimes, forgiveness and loss.

Thursday 15/2/24, 20:00: 'Shissel and Einstein'

Tzvi Shissel's last film documents his lifelong friendship and creative partnership with Arik Einstein, from their Tel Avivian childhood to Shissel's death, using never-before-seen homemade and archived footage.

Screening followed by a discussion with Noa Shissel, Zvi's daughter.

Friday 16/2/24, 13:30: 'Poliker, HaYeled SheBi'

Yehuda Poliker, one of Israel's musical giants - in a retrospective meeting of his own life - stares calmly into the camera; sometimes with longing, sometimes with regret, but mostly lovingly. He watches rare archival footage, some of which are never before seen family home-videos. At times, he joins in on the guitar, accompanying that same stuttering, insecure young man looking back at him from the screen, or his parents singing Greek songs, and sometimes, he just sits silently and reminisces.

Saturday 17/2/24, 20:00: 'HaIr HaZot'

The first ever Hebrew rap musical inspired by black music, film noir, and detective films, the plot focuses on the character of Joe, a cynical and bitter detective working in a corrupt, decaying city. One stormy night, a young woman named Sarah Bennett comes to Joe's office and tells him about the mysterious disappearance of her sister. Joe decides to take the case, a decision that could cost him his life.
