Young Designers Kaytana at Tafur Alai Summer 2019 (Ages 8-12)

Kaytana for children who want learn to how to use a sewing machine, and to sew designed and useful items, including clothes.

A summer of activity and learning new skills!

The kaytana helps develop fine motor skills, discipline, patience, the understanding of processes and creativity. Because vacation is also an opportunity to learn new skills!

Every week there are different projects! Every week there is a central project (piece of clothing) and a few small projects.

The children choose their own projects to sew, from a range of options: pajama pants, shorts (3 patterns), summer dress, shirts (3 patterns), skirts (3 patterns), pants (2 patterns).

Each children receives a sewing kit on the first day.

Eight spaces available per week.

Ages: 8-12.
