Course for intermediate and higher level guitarists and music students.
Aims of course:
- Teaching students professional mastery of the musical instrument, in a variety of styles.
- Enrichment and deepening of theoretical and practical subjects taught during the year.
Topics covered:
- In-depth learning about the neck of the guitar
- Special playing techniques for guitar control
- Picking speed / finger style
- Harmony and melody for advanced students + inversions
- Guidance for work in bands
- Improvisation and creation of guitar solos
- Melodic / rhythmic / melodic harmony reading
- Ear training
The course is taught by professional teachers with experience in teaching music.
Under the direction of Yigal Israeli, a graduate of the prestigious Berkeley School, a studio and performance guitarist with 35 years of experience, has played with Miki Gavrielov, Tzvika Pick, Dafna Armoni, Meni Beger, Riki Gal, Gidi Gov, Itzhak Klepter and many others.
E&OE. Conditional on a minimum number of participants. No refund for cancellation of participation during the course.
Hours
Dates: 5-29/7, twice per week (Sun + Wed) during morning - afternoon, for 3 hours (including break).
