The "BabaRock" band, led by cantor, Yossi Touitou and the veteran guitarist Yigal Israeli, both residents of Modi'in, in a show of Slichot piyyutim over rock arrangements with ethnic elements.
A wonderful musical journey into the world of Jewish spirituality from the sources, offering a unique encounter of authentic piyyut singing with modern Western sound, even hard rocking at times, while maintaining the awe of the lyrics and their depth.
The show includes personal stories by singer Yossi Touitou and the music arranger and guitarist Yigal Israeli, founders of the project.
Among the piyyutim included in the show: "Ya Shema Evionecha", "El Nora Alilah", "Adon HaSlichot", "Lecha Eli" and more...
