Tour and workshop about scented and medicinal plants, and preparation of ointment and deodorant from natural ingredients.
From the dawn of history, humans have been looking for methods to maintain their health and heal themselves, and plants have been one of the main tools for this purpose. Through trial and error, various effects of plants on the human body were discovered, and for thousands of years the field of knowledge of herbal medicine has developed.
The tour will focus on the traditions, folklore and folk tales associated with plants, botany, aromatic oils extracted from plants and medicinal uses, both in the past and today.
During the workshop, you'll experience the uses of plants in practice, from tea to medicinal uses in natural pharmacy, and prepare a natural ointment or deodorant.
