At twilight and into the darkness, in the light of stars and the full moon, set out on a lantern tour in honor of Sukkot, and experience the holiday in a mysterious and magical way.
Tours will take place in Hebrew and English.
When the inhabitants of the ancient land finished their workday in the fields and returned home to sit in their Sukkot, they had no streetlights or colorful lights to illuminate the Sukkah.
So what did their lives look like just by candlelight, and how did they spend their time?
The tour begins with the last rays of the sun, in the direction of the unique Sukkot exhibition, and the area of the four species. Learn about the symbols of the holiday and see the sunset, listen to the last sounds as the day fades and the rustling of animals waking up at night, enjoy explanations about a variety of different and strange sukkot, the different characteristics of the four species, and walk in the dark, with only lanterns lighting the way.
