Coding Camp with STEM Crafters - Summer 2022 (Ages 10-12)

High tech experience for English speaking kids.
Campers will work on two hands-on projects that build critical thinking, creativity and support the development of coding skills.
- Mission to Mars invites campers to create a working rover-explorer 'bot. They will design its electrical circuits, attach sensors, and program its working code using the C++ language for Arduino. The final rover will navigate, avoid obstacles, and track a light beacon from its landing point to home base.
- Web Journey - project for the final week of each session, is an adventure in digital storytelling. Each camper will create a short story that unfolds over several web pages including images, sound, and video. Campers will learn the basics of web scripting by using HTML, CSS and JavaScript as the foundation of their pages.
Ages: 4-6th grade.
