Heidi is an orphan, filled with love of life, curiosity and courage. She comes to live with her grandfather, an angry man who does not speak to anyone, and lives in a hut in the top of the Alps, where she befriends a goatherd named Peter.

Little Heidi changes grandpa and Peter's lives beyond recognition and they spend their days together, happy and fulfilled.

One day, Heidi's aunt arrives and takes her to Frankfurt to live in the luxurious house of a rich family, who is looking for a girl to befriend their wheelchair-bound daughter Clara.

Soon a special friendship develops between the two, but despite this, Heidi's longing for grandpa, Peter and the hills remains, and she longs to return to them.

Heidi's story is a story about friendship and loyalty, about nature and freedom, about the power of love, and above all about the ability to see the good in every person and in every situation, thanks to which Heidi manages, despite all the difficulties, to experience great happiness and true love.
