ModiinApp was started as a small project by 4 friends (three of us live in Modiin - 2 olim and 1 sabra), and quickly grew into the best source for information on local businesses and deals in Modiin. Everything we do is local and authentic. We hope you like it. Get in touch!
STEM School by STEM Crafters - Hi-Tech & Coding Chug
Registration for the 2026-7 school year is now open!

Training young superstars for a future that's built on technology.
Students use professional level equipment and real-world coding tools to gain skills that will last them a lifetime.
All classes are taught in English.
Focusing on three foundational skills:
-
Electronics - students get hands-on experience with the building blocks of real-world electronics like resistors, breadboards, soldering irons, multi-meters. By the middle of the year, kids will know how to measure voltage across circuits, figure out the value of resistors... and solder all of these components into place with ease as part of a project they take home.
-
Robotics - there is no better way to learn about engineering than by building a machine that solves real problems. That is exactly what students will do during chug by using microchips and motors alongside sensors and all the mechanical tools needed to pull these parts together. Plan, problem solve and party once the final robot comes to life.
-
Coding - students use a range of coding tools that are age and grade appropriate as they learn how to build "thinking machines." These include examples of traditional written code (Python and C++ depending on the level of the class) as well as graphical coding tools to help young learners gain expertise. This year, there will be a special emphasis on the development of AI tools by creating and training their own AI models to recognize sounds, images and even physical movement.
At each level students place an intensive focus on developing proper coding skills. All students build sophisticated projects that they will take home during the year.
