Invitation to a special birthday celebration at the Hasmonean village. A unique experience that takes you thousands of years back to the time of the Maccabees!
During the birthday party, children will participate in a variety of fascinating activities:
Ancient crafts:
- Operating an ancient olive press from the Maccabean era, including olive harvesting and crushing
- Minting Hasmonean coins
- Preparing bags of medicinal herbs and spices
- Creating a Hasmonean oil lamp from Israeli clay
- Painting the Hasmonean village with brushes and gouache paints
- Writing with ancient quills
Additional experiences:
- Hasmonean theatrical performance
- Guided tour of the village sites: ancient buildings, synagogue, mikveh, ancient olive press and wine press, carvings, ancient work tools, flora of the Land of Israel including the Seven Species, and more
All activities are conducted by the site's experienced guides, in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, with full participation by the children, and an unforgettable experience for the birthday boy or girl.
Suitable for ages: 6-12 - children and their friends, parents, grandparents.
