19th Modiin Run - Spring 2025

The traditional annual run of Modiin-Maccabim-Reut, including thousands of participants from age 3 onwards.

This year's run includes 5 heats:

• competitive 10K - minimum age 14
• competitive 5K - minimum age 10
• competitive 1.8K - minimum age 3
• 1.8K fun run - minimum age 3
• 300 meter 'Efrochim' heat - for ages 3-7 accompanied by an adult

• Early registration until 9/3/25 at 23:59
• Late registration until 19/3/25 at 10:00
• Registration will end on 19/3/25 at 10:00 or when the quota of participants is filled.
• Early distribution of kits for runners and school students will take place on Monday and Tuesday 24-25/3/25 from 15:00-21:00 at the gymnasium of Ironi Aleph.

About the Run

The 19th annual Modiin run will provide runners at various levels with competitive running routes of 10, 5 and 1.8 km, alongside two non-timed fun runs that are also suitable for children, those with special needs and senior citizens: a 1.8 km run and a 300 m run for children aged 3-7 and their parents. As every year, the run will also include the championship for elementary and high schools in Modiin Maccabim Reut.

The various heats will meet on the morning of the run at the starting point on Emek Dotan (next to 'Holmes Place') and run in a circular route in the direction of Maccabim, Reut and Moriah neighborhood depending on their heat, and back on Emek Dotan.

Gifts and prizes

Each participant signing up for the competitive runs will be given a registration pack including a running shirt and a special chip for measuring times and distance during the competition and more treats.

• From 05:30 - Gathering, distribution of participant's kits and opening of the expo area
• 06:45 - Start of competitive 10K
• 08:00 - Start of competitive 5K + school teams Yud-Aleph and Yud-Bet Boys only
• 09:00 - Prize ceremony for 5k and 10K at meeting area
• 09:00 - Start of 1K for school teams (Heh and Vav)
• 09:05 - Start of 1.8K for school teams (girls Zayin to Yud Bet)
• 09:05 - Start of 1.8K for school teams (boys Zayin to Yud)
• 09:15 - Start of competitive 1.8K (heat 1 - Green)
• 09:30 - Start of competitive 1.8K (heat 2 - Blue)
• 09:45 - 1.8K fun run (heat 1 - Red)
• 10:00 - 1.8k fun run (heat 2 - Purple)
• 10:00 (approx) - Prize ceremony for 1.8K competitive and schools, at meeting area
• 10:15 - 1.8K fun run (heat 3 - Yellow)
• 10:30 - Start of 300 meter 'Efrochim' heat.

Route

The run will start on Emek Dotan next to Holmes Place, continue east towards Maccabim (for 1.8K and 5K races), up to Menachem Begin 74 in Moriah (for 10K race) - and back on the other side of Emek Dotan to the finish point next to Holmes Place.
