Fascinating tour of the archeological excavation site, where the remains of an impressive Hasmonean fortress were recently uncovered.
During the guided tour, you'll get a rare glimpse into the lives of the Hasmoneans in the area and hear about the fascinating finds discovered at the site. You'll also see an impressive winepress from the Byzantine period, stone quarries, and more.
Please bring closed-toed shoes, a hat, and water.
Ages 8 and up. (The route is easy but slightly steep). Tour lasts one hour.
