A hungry beggar comes to a small village hoping to be given some food. To his surprise, the people of the village are closed up in the homes, and ignore him, and don't even help one another.
The wandering beggar decides to open their hearts (and fill his stomach) - and promises the villagers he will prepare soup ... from buttons!
Colorful, amusing production on the power of cooperation, community, and the understanding that if each does his own small part - together something great can be achieved.
The children in the audience help the two actors tell the story of the play, and in this way also experience the magic of cooperation and the benefit of a united community.
