The Amuta whose name means "opening eyes and hearts to the needs of the blind", was established in May 2011, with the aim of providing support to the blind and visually impaired.
The Amuta's activities include:
- Social activities with the blind, instruction in computing, cooking and baking by a chef
- Sports activities with the blind, tandem cycling, swimming lessons in the municipal pool, walking, running and more
- Lectures by blind members in schools throughout the country on accepting those different from ourselves, social awareness and opening the heart
- Counseling for various issues and organizing volunteers to help on a daily basis for children, teenagers and adults for the blind and visually impaired
