Robin Hood - Show for Children [Chanukah 2017 in Modiin]

While Richard the Lionheart is away on the crusades, his brother, Prince John, rules England and tries to strengthen his place on the throne while his brother is gone.

Among others, Robin Hood is banished from his land by the Sheriff of Nottingham, a villain who acts on Prince John's instructions.

Robin is forced to flee to Sherwood Forest, where he meets the people hiding in the forest after being expelled from their homes for failing to pay the taxes imposed on them by King John.

Robin wins their trust with his archery skills, and becomes the leader of the forest people. Together they become fighters for justice, trying to correct the inequality, and fight the sheriff who tries to protect the rich and catch the people of the forest.

Robin's gang includes: Friar Tuck, Will Scarlet, Much the miller's son and Little John. Robin falls in love with Miss Marian, who tells him about Prince John's plans to leave King Richard the Lionhearted in the captivity of the infidels, and Robin and his men collect money to bring about King Richard's release and return him to England.

After Marian is caught by the sheriff, Robin goes out to Sherwood Castle to free her from him. King Richard's arrival ends the battle, leading to the fall of the sheriff.
