Fascinating tour focusing on the many names of Shavuot, including wheat harvesting, writing with quill, ink and parchment, baking pitot and preparing tasty seasoned cheese!!

On a tour through the wheat and barley fields, gardens of the seven species, and ancient agricultural equipment - you'll feel as if you've jumped back in time to the first Shavuot.

A journey through the names and secrets of Shavuot:

  • Harvest Festival - Learn about the harvesters' way of life and experience threshing floor work from harvesting to grinding flour.
  • Festival of First Fruits - Walk through gardens of the seven species and see the first of the fruits.
  • Festival of Matan Torah - Experience writing with a quill, ink and parchment just like a Torah scribe.
  • A celebration of flavors - Make cheese using a special method, bake pitot on the taboon and prepare spices using a mortar and pestle.

The tour is suitable for the whole family!

Length of tour approx. 2 and a half hours (it is not possible to join once tour has started).

Cost: 45 ₪ (payment from age 3).

Tours take place in small groups (up to 35 participants). Recommended from age 5 and up.

Plenty of free parking available. Easy walking trail.

It is recommended to wear closed walking shoes and a hat, and bring water.
