Graduate of Medicine studies in England, at Cambridge and Oxford Universities, with residency in Internal Medicine in London. Made Aliyah in 2002 and completed his residency at Asaf HaRofeh Medical Center followed by a specialization in pulmonary medicine at Beilinson hospital.

After fellowship training in pulmonary hypertension at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, Canada, functioned as Director of the Pulmonary Vascular Disease service at Beilinson, and was promoted to Deputy Director of the Pulmonary Institute before taking up his position at Shamir Medical Center. Senior Lecturer at Tel Aviv University.
