Kova HaKsamim - Te'atron HaChofesh HaGadol 2019 at Heichal HaTarbut Modiin

Dance performance dedicated to Israel's children's poets, who wrote in Hebrew for generations of Sabras, ever since the establishment of the State of Israel.

The show tells the story of Dudi and Dani, two children celebrating their birthday on the same day. Dudy, a spoiled child from a rich home, receives many, valuable gifts.

Dani, on the other hand, receives only one gift - an old hat. Dani, who wants to share Dudy's many gifts, and is refused, turns the hat into his good and dear friend. The story takes a turn when the old hat turns out to be a magic hat, and Dudy is fed up with his gifts and covets Dani's hat.

With poems by Leah Goldberg, Yehonatan Geffen, Ehud Manor, Leah Naor, Miriam Yalan-Shteklis, Yehuda Atlas, Shlomit Cohen-Asif and more, and with dance and acting, the children undergo an emotional experience that teaches them an important lesson about generosity, friendship and positive thinking.

The familiar childhood songs are given fresh adaptations, and a wide and varied interpretation in dance.
