Sephardi Night Time Selichot with the Chief Rabbi

As of 2024, the selichot s in the tradition of the Sephardi and Edot HaMizrach at the Kipodan Synagogue are held in the morning hours only - in accordance with the two Shacharit minyanim that exist there.

Nighttime Selichot, led by Rabbi Avraham Elharar (son of the chief rabbi), are held outside the Yaacobi Building in the Ma'ar (Dam HaMaccabim 28) starting at 24:00.

Hours

Sun-Thu, Fri mornings and Sat night, from Bet Elul (5/9) until the week of Yom Kippur.
