In the colorful and sweet town of "Glidernia" people eat only one dessert: ice cream, and nothing else.
Gelato the veteran ice cream maker is excited about the traditional "Passing of the Spoon" ceremony, in which he will transfer responsibility for the ice cream shop to his son Pecano. But Pecano has other plans - he wants to make a new dessert that has never been seen in the town before - a waffle!
Two swindlers, Tortellino and Alfredo, decide to exploit the conflict between father and son in order to get rid of all the ice cream in the world once and for all.
