New! Wine and cheese - tasting workshop of local wines and goat cheeses.
- Cheese making demonstration and explanation of the stages of the cheesemaking process.
- Overview of the factors that affect the quality and type of wine, including grape varieties, geography, climate and winemaking methods.
- Combined tasting of four wines from the Judea region accompanied by cheeses from the deli, and explanations of the characteristics and uniqueness of each wine and cheese.
- Length of workshop approx. 1.5 hours. The workshop is conducted by Alon and Ruth Tzaban, cheesemaker and vintner, the owners of Meshek Tzaban.
Visitor's center and boutique cheese and wine deli, with a wide range of workshops and tours for private visitors, groups and work places.
Family dairy and beauty spot located in the the Tal Shachar moshav, at the foot of the Jerusalem hills and in the heart of lush vineyards and agricultural fields.
The farm includes a productive and cheerful herd of goats, a dairy, visitors' center and cheese and wine store, and supplementary products for quality hosting and picnics.
The farm offers a rich, pastoral hosting experience for organized groups, couples and private visitors from all over Israel (and abroad!).
You are invited to come and visit and get to know the people behind the cheeses, tour the farm and indulge in a country-style meal assembled from the high quality products from the delicatessen, cheeses, yogurts, crackers, sourdough bread, dips, jam and more.
In addition to the culinary experience, a range of interactive activities are available through which you can learn about the goats' way of life and the secrets of cheese and wine making, including advanced cheese making workshops for private customers and small organized groups.
The main building of the visitors' center is covered, air conditioned and pleasant in every season and in all weather.
Groups are invited to make prior arrangements for tours of the goat farm, cheese making workshops and fun team building days.
