Modiin's Night Run 2026

Modi'in's traditional night run takes place in the city center and includes 4 heats: 2 competitive (5K and 2.5K) and 2 for fun (1.5K and 450 meters for parents and children).

Along the routes, the runners will enjoy music, changing lighting and other effects, which will add to the overall experience.

Final registration date for Early Bird Discount: 29/10/26 at 23:59.

Final registration date: 12/11/26 at 23:59, or until the amount of permitted spaces has been filled.

Cost and prizes

Early sign-up until 29/10:

• 40 ₪ for fun run and 'Efrochim'.
• 80 ₪ for competitive heats including time measuring.

Late sign-up until 12/11:

• 50 ₪ for fun run and 'Efrochim'.
• 95 ₪ for competitive heats including time measuring.

Cups will be awarded to the overall 3 winners in each heat (for men and women). Placement in the category will be determined according to personal time.

• From 17:30 - Gathering, distribution of participant's kits outside the Hasmonean Museum
• 18:30 - Start of 450 m 'Efrochim' heat
• 19:00 - Start of 1.5K fun run
• 19:20 - Start of competitive 5K
• 19:30 - Start of competitive 2.5K
• 20:15 - Prize ceremony

Routes

• 450 m - From the Hasmonean Museum to the Police building, and back along the other side of the boulevard up to the Iriya, and then the finish line by the museum.

• 1.5K - Along the Ma'ar, from the museum to the junction of Dam HaMaccabim / Tiltan / Emek Ayalon, up to the Iriya, and then the finish line by the museum.

• 2.5K - from the musuem, along the Ma'ar and Emek Ayalon up to Beit Chabad and back on the other side of the road, up to the Iriya, and then the finish line by the museum.

• 5K - twice the 2.5K route.

Heats

• 5K Competitive - minimum age 10
• 2.5K Competitive - minimum age 8
• 1.5K fun run (without taking times) - minimum age 3
• 450 m 'Efrochim' (parent + child) - for ages 3-7.

Parking Options

• The Iriya Car Park (approx. 250 spaces) - Dam HaMaccabim Street, at the corner of Tiltan Street. Paid parking until 19:00, except for residents displaying a parking badge on their car.

• The Sdera underground car park in the City Center (approx. 500 spaces) - entrance in front of Tiltan 27. First two hours are free, then charges apply.

• Bezeq building parking lot (approx. 50 spaces) - located at Tiltan 12. Free.

• The Azrieli Mall underground car park (approx. 1,500 spaces) - Entrance from the streets Arar and Lev Ha'Ir. First two hours are free, then charges apply.

• The Rakevet car park (approx. 250 spaces) - located on Lev Ha'Ir street, a 10 minute walk from the start point outside the musuem. Free. (for driving instruction on Waze click here!)
