It's hard to believe it's just Yoshi's debut album that was released this year. The musician and songwriter, who graduated cum laude with two degrees in philosophy, and dropped out of medical school to focus on his musical career, is one of the hot names of the year with nominations for Galgalatz, Mako and Kan Gimmel Song of the Year, Album and Breakthrough of the Year. "Hachi Yafa" and "Bli Charatot" heightened curiosity, until "Ein Maspik Zman" was released, accompanied by a beautiful clip that conquered radio and streaming services.

Yoshi, Yochai Blum, grew up in Upper Nazareth and has been involved in music all his life. Rami Kleinstein, in a chance encounter, convinced him to try out for a military band. He has performed and recorded with names such as Eli Butner, Muki and more, while leading a parallel life trajectory of a thriving academic career. Until he realized he wanted (or had to) dedicate himself entirely to music.

Yoshi worked on his debut album "Zarim Mekirim" for a year. The lyrics, melodies and musical production are all his own, except for two songs that are a collaboration with producer Omri Amado (Jane Bordeaux, Tamir Muscat and more). "Ein Maspik Zman" caused a stir on the Internet, with its beautiful clip and starring in playlists, in the top ten viral songs of Israel and on Shazam.

Yoshi brings his refreshing musical language to the stage, sounding a bit like Matti Caspi with beats, a combination of Israeli nostalgia with contemporary Israeli production.
