Play starring Galit Giat as the woman once crowned and still known to all as 'the voice of Egypt' and 'the pearl of the east', the beloved Egyptian singer Umm Kulthum.
The musical play presents the story of her life, starting with her shows dressed as a young boy at family weddings, through the development of her musical career in parallel with the political and cultural struggles in Egypt, and her becoming a national symbol, then and now.
