Discovering the hill! Festive opening of the Givat Ashun Park - a unique archeological site in the Moreshet neighborhood.
Program:
- Craft stations
- Minting coins from the Hasmonean period
- Making a pomegranate mosaic inspired by an archeological relic
- "Please touch" mobile museum display - mobile museum station displaying original ancient items
- Guided tour - get to know the site, starting every half hour.
The archeological findings discovered during the excavations are displayed in the Hasmonean Heritage Museum.
Parking: from Ariel Sharon Street to Haim Weitzman Street 32 (park in the underground parking lot) and from there continue on foot to the entrance path to the hill. The parking lot will be opened for the coming period as a trial, in the afternoon hours from 15:00 to 20:00 daily.
