The musical takes place in Israel in the seventies, and spans an entire decade. At its center - a love story between three young people in an Israeli coastal town in the early seventies. Young Gavriel is caught between his love for the lively Mary Lou, who dreams of becoming a star, and the devoted love of his friend Ella.
The musical is built around twenty-five of Svika Pick's greatest hits. The heroes of the show are based on characters that appear in his well-known songs: "Mary Lou", "Ella Cinderella", "Gavriel", "Ani Ohev Otach Leah", "Ahava BeSof HaKayitz" and many more.
