Joseph Cox helped us out with a leak coming down from the roof of our building into our apartment. It happened every time it rained. He really took the time to analyze the problem, doing investigative work in the apartment and on the roof. He successfully located the cause of the problem and solved it, using sealants to stop the leak at its source. Joseph uses the right combination of thoroughness and creativity. In addition to helping us with the leak, he was able to figure out how to close a balcony covering that we inherited from the previous owners and that nobody was able to figure out how to close, until he came along. I recommend Joseph specifically for solving leaks, but for any general home repairs or maintenance

Joseph talks through projects very clearly, explaining what the options are and their cost, without pushing the customer to select the most expensive. He is polite and friendly. He arrives on time and you don't need to call him twice. So far for us he has done carpentry, tiling and wall finishing. He's coming back soon to do a whole lot more!

During the heavy rain we had leaking from where the roof of our sunroom met the side of the building. I posted on Facebook to see if anyone knew someone who could fix the leak. I received a note from Joseph Cox who I knew nothing about, but he was an English speaker, available, and sounded like he knew what he was talking about. I was pleasantly surprised that he showed up on the minute he promised (and he came back twice more- also exactly on time) and with his calm manner and his friendliness. He worked in a professional manner. I would highly recommend as not only a handyman, but a kind and pleasant person to work with.

Joseph came in and in 15 minutes he had it fixed - no parts required. He saved me hours and lots of money. Joseph thinks outside the box and is solution-focused. Best of all, if he can't do it, he'll tell you and he won't waste your time."
