The Israel Astronomical Association invites you to a special evening as part of NASA's International Observe the Moon Night, an annual event that brings together astronomy enthusiasts, families, and curious minds from around the world to celebrate our closest neighbor in space - the Moon.
What's in store at the event?
- Observe the Moon's craters and mountains through professional telescopes, and depending on conditions, try to spot the season's standout planets too.
- Smartphone photo station - connect your phone to the telescope and capture your own souvenir photo of the Moon!
- Fascinating explanations about the night sky and introductions to the most prominent constellations.
Got a new telescope and struggling to work it?
An hour before the official observation begins (from 19:00), join a personal instruction clinic! Bring your telescope, and volunteers will be happy to help and guide you.
Invite friends, family, and kids - see you under the stars!
The observation is subject to weather conditions.
