Information station, which will be operating guided tours that will try to reveal the mystery of the graves of the Maccabees, and offer an introduction to the Ben Shemen Forest, the green lung of Gush Dan.
Discover ancient Modiin where the Hasmonean revolt started, and walk through Ben Shemen Forest in the enchanting winter landscape of Shfelat Yehuda. Continue on to the graves of the Maccabees and hear about who is buried there.
Length of tour about an hour and a half (not suitable for strollers).
Hours
Mon-Thu 15-18/12/25 and Sun-Mon 21-22/12/25:
- Information station operating hours: 09:00-15:00 (the station will be unmanned during tours)
- Tours at: 10:00, 13:00.
Participation is free of charge, pre-registration required. Entry without registration will not be permitted.
