Gala concert "When Pop and Classical Music Meet": Hallelujah.
Astonishing musical show with a unique encounter - Handel's Messiah meets the Shalva band, in a new show conducted by Gil Shochat.
The classical piece that will be performed is the most popular of all time - Handel's Messiah, which contains the well known vocal choir sections, that constitute a spiritual transcendence - and culminate in the singing of the popular passage Hallelujah, with the participation of the audience.
This work meets the Shalva band with their best known songs - a band that symbolizes the victory of the spirit and faith in man.
On the stage - the choir, soloists, singers and musicians, as well as the Maayan choir - all under the direction of maestro Gil Shochat.
'Hallelujah' will be performed by the Shalva band and the Maayan choir in three versions: the well-known Hallelujah passage from the Messiah, the prize-winning Eurovision song by Kobi Oshrat and the famous song by Leonard Cohen.
