Special activities and workshops including museum visit for Purim.

Saturday 23/3/24 - 11:00: Creative photography workshop for Purim

Interactive workshop at the "Ma Tishtu" exhibition " with Nitzan Shatrog, Adama Yotzeret.

During the workshop the exhibition will be viewed through the lens of the camera, combined with unique accessories (mirrors, slides, frames and more)

These will be used for creative shots.

Learn tools for better and more accurate photography while observing your environment from different and unique perspectives.

Create a special photo booth for Purim to take pictures and be photographed with Purim accessories.

Duration: about an hour and a half. For for ages 6 and up.

Ancient costumes and belt making in collaboration with the Israeli Forum for Experimental Archaeology.

Learn about weaving using ancient techniques and make a belt (or bookmark).

Duration: about an hour and a half. For for ages 8 and up.

The museum brings the story of the city of Modi'in, from the days of the Hasmonean family, through the various periods to the days of the establishment of the modern city through a multi-sensory and interactive experience.

The Hasmonean Heritage Museum is located in the center of Modiin, with the aim of connecting the modern, contemporary city with the ancient city and the commercial life with rich cultural life.

The rich sources and historical sites of the area inspired the establishment of the museum. In the city and its surroundings, many archeological finds have been found that testify to its rich and glorious historical past, from which one can learn about the existence of branches of Jewish cultural life, in an area that has been very active for thousands of years.

All information is conveyed and presented to visitors in an innovative, technological and interactive way.
