Sunday 13/10/24, 16:00 and 17:00: Kesem HaRimon - mosaic workshop in the ancient Hasmonean synagogue.
The fruits of the land come to life through mosaics from ancient times.
In the workshop you will learn the craft of mosaic making and create a pomegranate mosaic inspired by the pomegranate trees in the orchard and ancient mosaics.
Location: Meeting point in the parking lot of the ancient Hasmonean synagogue on Rechov Reuven.
Monday 14/10/24, 16:00 and 17:00: Dvash VeOketz - ancient medicines and potions based on honey.
Already in ancient times, it was understood that medicine doesn't have to be bitter. Come and experience making medicines straight from the ancient pharmacy.
Location: At the Hasmonean Heritage Museum. Those who want to tour the museum are advised to come before the start of the workshop.
Tuesday 15/10/24, 16:00 and 17:00: Sod Dyo HaSTA'M - quills in the ancient scrolls.
Who discovered the world's oldest book of the Bible? What is the secret ingredient of STA"M ink? And how does technology from NASA aid archaeologists?
