Three pictures hang in Itamar's room - a colorful train, a girl with a kite, and a forest with a pair of lions. When Itamar doesn't understand, he asks many questions, but one question particularly bothers him: why are the lion and the lioness sad? After Itamar won't fall asleep again and again, and drives his father crazy, he gets into bed with his teddy bear and his monkey. A moment after he closes his eyes, Itamar goes for a walk on the walls, and enters the pictures to get answers to this questions.

The ability of a child to deal with questions and fears, and to solve problems through the world of fantasy and imagination, through thought that is free of frameworks and boundaries.
