School, Ganim & Tzaharonim Vacation Calendar 2025-26 in Modiin-Maccabim-Reut

All the school vacations for the 2025-2026 school year as set by the Ministry of Education, and the vacation days on which the Matnas Modiin tzaharonim operate (from 07:30 to 16:00).

Rosh Hashana

• No school and ganim Erev Rosh HaShana and first and second day Chag - Mon, Tue & Wed 22-24/9/25.
• School goes back on Thursday 25/9/25.

Yom Kippur and Sukkot (bridge)

• No school and ganim from Erev Yom Kippur and throughout Sukkot from Wed 1/10/25 until Tue 14/10/25.
• School goes back on Wed, Isru Chag, 15/10/25 (like last year and in contrast to previous years, Isru Chag Sukkot is a regular school day).
• No Tzaharonim throughout the Kippur/Sukkot vacation.

Chanukah

• No school and ganim from Tue 16/12/25 until Mon 22/12/25.
• School goes back on Tue 23/12/25.
• The tzaharonim are operating Tue-Mon 16-22/12/25.

Purim

• Dressing up day - Sun 1/3/26.
• No school and ganim on Tue-Wed 3-4/3/26.
• School goes back on Thu 5/3/26.

Pesach

• No school and ganim from Tue 24/3/26 until Wed 8/4/26.
• School goes back on Thu, Isru Chag 9/4/26 (like last year and in contrast to previous years, Isru Chag Pesach is a regular school day).
• The tzaharonim are operating Tue-Mon 24-30/3/26.

Yom HaZikaron

• On Tue 21/4/26 school ends at 12:00 lunchtime.

Yom HaAtzmaut

• No school and ganim Wed 22/4/26.
• School goes back on Thu 23/4/26.

Lag BaOmer

• No school and ganim Tue 5/5/26.
• School goes back on Wed 6/5/26.
• The tzaharonim are operating Tue 5/5/26.

Shavuot

• No school and ganim Erev Chag and Chag - Tue & Fri 21-22/5/26.
• School goes back on Sun, 24/5/26.

End of school year

• Elementary schools and ganim finish on Tue 30/6/26.
• High schools and kitot yud gimmel-daled that study 6 days a week finish on Friday 19/6/26, and those that study 5 days a week finish on Thursday 18/6/26.
