Modiin Center / Emek Ayalon Park

Largest and most centrally located park in the Prachim neighborhood. Most of the park is located between the Modiin Center shopping center and HaYovel school.

The park consists of 3 main areas: the playgrounds and outdoor gym, the large grassy area and cycling circle, and the northern grassy area and dog park, which is above and adjacent to the shopping center parking lot.

The main area (see photo), where most of the equipment is located, is shaded by tall trees. This area has walking paths, shaded corners, benches, fountains and ornamental trees.

At the northeastern end of this area, near the shopping center, there is outdoor fitness equipment, and a new toddler area that includes a unique swing for parents and children, toddler swings and a toddler roundabout.

In the center is a large wooden structure designed for older children, that includes 14 towers, swinging bridges, slides and more.

At the southwestern end, in front of the HaYovel school, there are swings, and a "horse" rope swing.

Adjacent to this, there's the area with the roller skating and cycling circle for young children, beyond which is a spacious and partially sloping lawn that extends to the shopping center. Around this whole part of the park there is a path for pedestrians and runners, which is about half a kilometer in circumference.

Beyond the parking lot of the Modiin Center shopping center, between the center and Shomrei HaChomot, is the third area, which contains a dog park, a large grassy area, tall trees and shaded areas. This area is very popular for birthday parties and class meetings, and there is parking available right next to it on Shomrei HaChomot.
