Have you always wanted to express yourself through art, but felt you didn't have the experience or the ability?

Visual journaling is what you are looking for!

Creativity using a wide variety of simple and exciting techniques. Work in your own personal notebook, intuitively and without judgment.

You will have the opportunity to express material from your inner world, inspired by general guidance which you will interpret in your own personal way. Inspiration will come from art history, from stories, songs and texts.

Offering a variety of workshops throughout the year:

  • In August - "Junk Journal": 5 session visual journal workshop. Working with recycled materials, combining high-quality paints and a wide variety of techniques. Artistic project that includes writing exercises. Therapeutic process, helping you discover insights through the materials and creativity.
  • On Tu Be'Av - "Simla LaChag": one time workshop. Creative project using a variety of materials, where the dress is used as a metaphor for our inner world. Inspiration from dresses created by famous artists in Israel and around the world and from the world of poetry. Using watercolors, collage and different types of paper.
  • From the end of November - "Masa Bein Chomarim": Three month workshop on Monday mornings. Process-based project, in which the materials and techniques serve as means for different expressions of our inner world. Techniques include: the visual journalling, intuitive drawing, mandala drawing and drawing using the right lobe. Different writing techniques will be included in the creative process. Works from art history, literature, poetry and philosophy will be presented to help explain and inspire.

One time workshops for booking:

For groups of up to 7 women, offering visual journalling, intuitive drawing and mandala drawing.

Instruction by Ofira Oriel, a creative artist, a graduate of the Midrasha LeOmanut (Beit Berel), graduate of photography studies at Hadassah College, an art and special education teacher with over 20 years of experience in leading art workshops.
