Fri 20/9, 9:30 - Tour and bird ringing on Givat Sher

The hill, which is very close to Modiin's Extreme Park, is a stopping point for birds during the migration seassion and is home to many varied species. Come and get to know them, and the importance of rining, as well as trying out practical ringing in the field.

Fri 20/9, 16:00 - Likrat Shabbat on Titora

Just beyond your window, you can find archeological remains from various historical periods on the Titora hill, as well as animals, fragant wild flowers and more. Come get to know this incredible urban nature area! The tour will be closed with a sing-a-long.

Sat 21/9, 9:30 - Givat Sher tour

This unique hill in the Modiin area is home to the remains of ancient agriculture in the land of Israel, as well as orchard trees. It also serves as a habitat for a variety of species, due to its location in the heart of the national ecological corridor.

Sat 21/9, 16:00 - Givat Barfilia tour

Unique pearl of nature right next to Kaizer neighborhood. Not many know that this hill is home to many species, including the bee-eater ('shrakrakim') wall, where bee-eater couples build their nests. Recently, birds of prey of the species little owl ('kos hachorvot') have also been spotted. The sloping hill also contains remains of ancient agricultural settlements and magical orchards.
